Hybrid races in Belgium

HYROX, ATHX, STYREKX and TYRUN all race in Belgium. HYROX keeps one format worldwide: eight 1 km runs, each followed by a workout station. ATHX packs a strength workout (scored on total weight lifted), an endurance workout and a timed MetCon X into one session of about two and a half hours, for solo athletes or pairs. STYREKX is powered by Strong Viking: ten runs of 800 m or 400 m, combined with ten workout stations. TYRUN is based here and brings a brand-new workout each season; its Scaled, Open and Pro divisions race the same course, and only the loads and calories change.

From London, Eurostar runs to Brussels-Midi/Zuid, where you change for other Belgian stations. Eurostar no longer sells Any Belgian Station tickets, but you can book the Eurostar and the SNCB train together on its website or app, choosing your arrival station. ATHX races at Brussels Expo. Metro line 6 runs there from the city centre: get off at Heysel or Roi Baudouin (Koning Boudewijn), depending on which palace your race is in.

In Ghent, HYROX, STYREKX and TYRUN all use Flanders Expo. From Gent-Sint-Pieters station, tram T1 runs right to the door, and buses 76, 77 and 78 stop close by. In Mechelen, HYROX and STYREKX use Nekkerhal, about 2 km from the city's Grote Markt, with 1,500 parking spaces in front. TYRUN also races in Liège, Hasselt and Antwerp, and Liège-Guillemins and Antwerpen-Centraal are both on Eurostar's network. Bring ID to HYROX check-in: it is required, and nobody can check in on your behalf.
