DEKA race calendar
27 upcoming DEKA races in 10 countries, from 24 Oct 2026 to 1 Oct 2027.
What a DEKA race is
DEKA is a fitness race made up of ten functional zones, done in numbered order: reverse lunges, a 500 m row, box jumps or step-overs, med ball sit-up throws, a 500 m ski erg, a farmer's carry, an air bike, dead ball overs, a sled push or pull, and burpees.
DEKA FIT puts 500 m of running before every zone (5K in total). DEKA MILE puts 160 m before each zone (one mile in total). DEKA STRONG has no running. DEKA ATLAS uses ten heavy zones with a 30-minute time cap. DEKA ULTRA repeats the FIT circuit five times (50 zones, 25K).
The organiser records the time for each zone and the total race time, and results feed a global leaderboard. Elite and Age Group athletes compete for podium places, and there are also Ruck (weighted rucksack), Youth and team heats. Teams are pairs or fours, including the four-person Ignite format with a 90-minute limit.
