Deadly Dozen race calendar

15 upcoming Deadly Dozen races in United Kingdom, from 24 Oct 2026 to 14 Aug 2027.

What a Deadly Dozen race is

A Deadly Dozen track race is twelve 400 m runs, called Journeys, each followed by one of twelve stations, called Labours, in a fixed order from a farmers carry to a devil press. Labours use kettlebells, dumbbells, plates and bodyweight only. In all: 4.8 km of running, 900 m of distance Labours and 320 reps.

Solo athletes do everything themselves. Pairs run every Journey together and split each Labour as they like. Relay teams have four athletes, who each do one Journey and one Labour before the next takes over, so everyone completes three of each. Men's and women's weights apply, and age categories run up to 80 and over.

Athletes wear a timing chip on the ankle and cross timing mats between runs and Labours. Finish times go on a leaderboard, and solo races have no time limit. A 5-minute penalty applies for a wrong order, an incomplete Labour or a scaled one. Missing a Labour means disqualification. Waves start every 4 to 6 minutes.
