Getting to Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre

The closest station is Southern Cross. From there, trams 96, 109 and 12 run to stop 124A Casino/MCEC/Clarendon Street, outside the Clarendon Street entrance, or it's about a 10-minute walk.

Bus 237 from Southern Cross stops at Eighteen Pence Lane/Lorimer Street, about 10 minutes' walk from the Convention Centre Place entrance. From the airport, the Skybus runs to Southern Cross.

Wilson Parking runs underground parking at the Exhibition Centre, bookable online, and the venue also names the South Wharf Retail, Siddeley Street, Freeway and Montague Street car parks.

Tickets

Athlete and spectator tickets are sold through HYROX Australia's ticket page, linked from the event page. Optional Flex add-ons cover name changes or refunds up to set deadlines. Without one, a ticket can't be changed or refunded.

Prices and availability are on hyrox.com.

Divisions and start times

Melbourne offers Open and Pro singles, Adaptive singles, Doubles (men, women and mixed), Pro Doubles and men's, women's and mixed relays. Pro singles and the relays race on Friday 11 December, and Pro Doubles on Saturday 12 December.

Racing runs from Wednesday 9 to Sunday 13 December on a provisional timetable given in morning, afternoon and evening sessions, with the last wave each day around 20:00. About three days before, HYROX links each athlete's start time, and changes aren't allowed.

Race day

Bring ID and check in yourself. HYROX Australia recommends arriving at least 90 minutes before your start with your e-ticket barcode; you'll get a timing chip for your right ankle and a race wristband.

There's no athlete briefing on the day: the technical briefing videos on HYROX's YouTube channel are mandatory.

Spectator tickets

HYROX Australia says spectator tickets can also be bought on the day unless sold out, by card only, and that standard admission is free for young children, people aged 65 and over and people with disability: check the age limit on the ticket page. An athlete's wristband only gets them in on their own race day.

Charity places

Charity tickets are part of Race for Impact, run with High Impact Athletes, for a cause area you choose. The Melbourne page gives no pledge amount. Charity tickets can't be refunded.

Race details checked against the official HYROX Melbourne page on 8 October 2026. HYROX can change them, so check the official page before race day.
