Getting to Messukeskus Helsinki

Messukeskus is in Pasila, a few minutes' walk from Pasila station, where all local and long-distance trains stop. Tram 2 ends in front of the venue and runs to the city centre, and tram 13 runs from Kalasatama metro station to Pasila.

I and P trains run from Helsinki Airport to Pasila in about half an hour, roughly every 10 minutes. Buses, trams and trains don't sell tickets, so buy one first from an HSL machine or the HSL app.

By car, use the Messukeskus car park off Ratapihantie (Ratapihantie 17 for satnav), which has 4,600 spaces, is always open and charges for parking. The garage height limit is 2.2 metres.

Tickets

Athlete and spectator tickets are sold per race day in HYROX's Finland ticket shop, linked from the event page. A doubles ticket is per person, so a pair buys two and a relay team four. Optional Flex add-ons, bought with the ticket, cover name changes or refunds up to set deadlines.

Prices and availability are on hyrox.com.

Divisions and start times

Helsinki offers Open and Pro singles, Adaptive singles, Doubles (men, women and mixed), Pro Doubles and men's, women's and mixed relays, with the relays on Friday 18 December. Some divisions race on two days, and you pick your day when you buy.

Racing runs from Friday 18 to Sunday 20 December on a provisional timetable, starting at 08:00 on Friday. Pro singles and the relays (from 19:20) race on Friday, and Pro Doubles on Saturday. About three days before, HYROX links each athlete's start time on the event page, and changes aren't allowed.

Race day

Bring physical ID (digital copies aren't accepted) and check in yourself, on the day you race. Registration opens 90 minutes before your division's first start wave. There's a bag drop for one cabin-size bag and changing rooms, but no showers.

Spectator tickets

Spectators need a ticket for each day. Children under 12 go free but still need a ticket, and under-16s must be with an adult who has one.

Charity places

Charity tickets raise money through Race for Impact for a cause area you choose. HYROX's charity page lists minimum targets of €300 for singles, €500 for a doubles team and €800 for a relay team, and says amounts can vary slightly by country. The Helsinki shop shows €300 for singles.

Race details checked against the official HYROX Helsinki page on 8 October 2026. HYROX can change them, so check the official page before race day.
